The day before the 35th annual Tulsa Run

Some 10,000 people are expected to run in Oklahoma’s oldest and one of its biggest endurance running events, the Tulsa Run, on Saturday. Folks will be competing in 15k and 5k races, and there will be a wheeled event and a 2k fun run as well. Today was the first day people could pick up their packets and race bibs. Needless to say, there was a lot of activity downtown today.

Here’s a look at the line for the packet pick-up:

Like most races, you register and you get swag.

The race starts and ends downtown. What I like about it: For a city Tulsa’s size, it has a pretty cool looking downtown. Here’s one sweet looking high-rise not far from the finish.

Best of luck to all who are racing in all the events. It’s a cool event with a lot of history and was instrumental in getting the Tulsa running scene going. See you all there!
